We continue with the Topissimi Tour Tuscany. The next adventure we are about to play is with the hosts of Adventure Rooms Firenze. We had already had the opportunity to be guests of the franchise and we were happy to have found the same passion and the same desire to entertain the players, which we had experienced in Catania. To welcome us, the very nice Claudia, a bomb of energy, who will be our Master for the Asylum room. He introduces us inside and, while he illustrates the story, cuffs us … Like a magician.
Even without handcuffs, one would have immediately guessed where we were: iron bars, writing on the walls, padded walls, gowns and a creepy office. The straitjackets were missing, but they wouldn’t have been very comfortable to play.
The first generation fits this room perfectly … Disturbing, is the word I would use to describe it: disturbing the environments, disturbing some puzzles, disturbing the background music. In short, goal achieved! Let me be clear that by this I do not mean absolutely scary, but more distressing, sinister. Indeed, I agree with Adventure Rooms which indicates a 2/5 degree of “fearfulness”; I apologize for the neologism, but there is actually no fear scale, so I had to improvise.
The logic of the room is one of the most linear I have ever seen, but we don’t make the mistake of believing it easier: we are always inside an asylum. Indeed, I don’t agree with Adventure Rooms when it assigns it a difficulty level 3/5. In my opinion, it’s a little bit more complicated, even compared to how it looks. We came out at the split of the second.
I don’t see it as very suitable for newbies, but at the same time, in my opinion, the game logic and the puzzles would still be appreciated. So, try it anyway. The only way to find out is to jump into the fray!

You sneaked into an abandoned asylum to spend the night there and perform what was supposed to be a simple stunt between boys. It all seemed quiet until… you found out you weren’t alone! The asylum hides an ancient and tormented history and you, imprisoned and deprived of your personal effects, will have to retrace it to the end to find salvation.
